Ohmigosh, I hope this pace doesn't keep up

Cayden and I went to Hershey's new moms' breastfeeding class/support group this morning. One of the highlights of this weekly get-together is a weekly weigh in, to see how all the babies are doing.

So I weighed Chicken Wing. And he tipped the scale at 10 lbs., 9 oz. Since his last doctor's appointment was August 8 and he was 8 lbs., 13 oz., that means this porker gained damn near 2 lbs. in 10 days. They're supposed to gain an average of about 1 oz. per day; he's gained 2.8 oz. per day.

Holy. Crap.
